Bonner County Historical Society Trustees have a fiduciary and policy-setting responsibility for the welfare of the Museum. The board is extraordinarily generous, supporting ongoing operations and special needs.

Hannah Combs, Executive Director
Hannah joined the Museum staff in 2020, and her passion for understanding and celebrating our rural communities has grown ever since. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatrical Design from Ball State University, where she also studied painting and art history. She is currently the vice chair of the City of Sandpoint's Arts, Culture and Historic Preservation Commission, has volunteered with many Bonner County nonprofits, and is a graduate of the Leadership Sandpoint and the Idaho Change Leader programs. Hannah is grateful to have landed in North Idaho and to be part of a generous, caring community. She believes curiosity and storytelling bring us closer together, and she uses her diverse skills to make the museum's extensive resources accessible for all. director@bonnercountyhistory.org |
Olivia Fee, Outreach Coordinator
Olivia has been exposed to the fascinating world of history and its artifacts from the beginning. She grew up in a home that is passionate about history’s mysterious nature and the importance of preserving it. She graduated from the University of Idaho with a Bachelors in Anthropology and an emphasis in history and archaeology. She is also very passionate about storytelling, and loves to relay fascinating historical narratives and express her love for the poetic outdoors. She pursues her love for storytelling through writing, photography, and videography. It has been such a joy for Olivia to acquaint herself with the collection, assist in its preservation, and share its stories with others in creative ways. When she is not working, she is exploring the deep forests, vast lakes, and wild mountains of North Idaho. Bry Ells, Museum Administrator
Bry is the newest member to join our staff in 2023. Being a born native, a passion for our rich history and charming community was instilled in her from a young age, and has developed through her experiences in community centered organizations. Bry eagerly offers an eclectic skillset, diverse connections, and an avid interest in preserving and sharing our history. She is currently earning her Bachelors in Anthropology with a focus on Native American Studies at the University of Montana. In her personal time, Bry can be found crafting a drink or delicious treat, devouring another book at one of our local coffee shops, or enjoying an afternoon of kayaking and exploring our captivating surroundings. She is fueled by creating connections, actively participating in our community, and appreciating our beautiful home town. Bry looks forward to supporting and growing with our Historical Society & Museum, and is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of our salient mission. info@bonnercountyhistory.org |
Billie Servis is a senior at Clark Fork Jr/Sr. High School. She is completing an independent study program at the Museum during the Fall 2023 semester. Billie chose the Bonner County History Museum because she has always been fascinated by local history and how it continues to shape people today. Billie said she thinks this opportunity will reveal intriguing insights into where she would like to focus her future endeavors.
At the Museum, everyone wears many hats and is able to gain experience in many different areas. Billie likes learning a little bit of everything from reading and research to hands on work. She is a welcome addition at the Museum, and we cannot wait to see her future endeavors and success come to fruition! |
