Bonner County Drawing Club

Pend Oreille Arts Council (POAC) and BCHS have teamed up to create the Bonner County Drawing Club.  The BC Drawing Club is an informal and self-guided club with the goal of encouraging the creation of art while appreciating history. We welcome and encourage participants of all ages.

Come to tour the Museum and make a sketch, or come to make a sketch and tour the Museum, either way you are a BC Drawing Club member.  You can participate once, or every week; alone, or with friends. The BC Drawing Club is open to all interpretations.

Here is how it Works

POAC has provided drawing materials available to anyone visiting the Bonner County History Museum.  You can also bring your own sketchbook and materials with you.

Each week the Museum will post a theme open to the artist's interpretation.  Accept the challenge and explore the Museum to find the perfect artifact to sketch.

BC Drawing Club members can share their work on social media #BCDrawingClub or submit it directly to the Museum.
A selection of works will be featured on the BCHS Instagram account and displayed in the new POAC Gallery space, as participation allows.
