Dinosaur Femur Fragment
This eclectic collection of fossils and natural history specimens was one of the original donations to the Bonner County Museum in 1953 by H.E. Nesbitt.
These were collected from Pryor Mountain in southeast Montana, a series of faults near Bighorn Canyon, and identified in May 2010 as a Hadrosaurid, Duck-billed Dinosaur by Eugene Gaffney, vertebrate paleontologist , at the American Museum of Natural History.
